Excitement continues to build as the historic tournament approaches, and Houston is once again embracing its creative side through the return of the popular ‘Art of Soccer’ campaign. Relaunched by the FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host Committee, this initiative celebrates the city’s profound passion for the sport while actively supporting meaningful legacy programs.
First introduced in 2019 during Houston’s initial bid to become an official host city, the campaign now returns with an even stronger mission—to deeply engage the local community and businesses, generate visual excitement, and create lasting impact far beyond the tournament itself.
Uniting Houston’s Corporate and Creative Communities
“The tournament is generating tremendous excitement across Houston, and the ‘Art of Soccer’ campaign is a fun and meaningful way to involve our local partners.”
— Chris Canetti, President of the Houston Host Committee
Each participating business or organization will receive an exclusive 36-inch fiberglass soccer ball to be fully customized by a local Houston artist. Once decorated, these striking sculptures can be proudly displayed at storefronts, corporate offices, or high-traffic public venues, effectively turning Houston into a vibrant, soccer-themed open-air art gallery.
All proceeds raised from this campaign will directly benefit the Host Committee’s community legacy initiatives. These core efforts include expanding sport access for underserved youth, launching regional sustainability programs, and upholding stringent human rights protections throughout the event.
A Strategic Alliance for Global Impact
Professional Sports Partners (PSP), a prominent Houston-based sports marketing firm, is leading the campaign’s direct outreach to local businesses. Jason Kohll, CEO of PSP, noted their honor in leading this program to unite Houston’s corporate community around this global event to make a lasting structural difference.
